Launching Tesco’s Hudl2 tablet

Tesco is a British multinational grocery and general merchandise retailer. As the tablet market grew at an extremely fast pace, Tesco saw the opportunity contribute and own a percentage of the tablet market share by launching the Hudl in 2013. The Hudl became such a success story that Tesco pursued a successor, the Hudl 2. The Hudl 2 was announced in 2014 and it came with many great features at an extremely competitive price.

I initially joined Tesco to work on Tesco direct. I was working in various projects, such as Tesco Mobile Shop, Sales and Offer campaigns, Click and Collect and the Hudl2.

The Hudl2 was by far the most interesting piece of work, as the product was about to be launched, I was responsible for all of its online presence, this allowed me great freedom to direct product photo shoots, create design concepts and produce responsive webpages, campaign banners, countdowns, alerts and widgets.
